A little late, but I really wanted to share our experience at The Conrad Hotel in Dubai. In a city like Dubai, it can be overwhelming trying to decide where to stay. There are so many hotels in good locations and with great amenities. We were lucky to have been able to stay at The Conrad Hotel during our first visit to Dubai. With top of the line amenities, luxury aesthetics and impeccable service, this hotel was giving everything that it was supposed to give. It’s no wonder that this hotel is a top pick for both vacationers and business travellers.

Getting To The Conrad Hotel Dubai
Right from the moment we stepped out of the airport, we knew we were in for a treat.
We were picked up in a BMW 7 series and made the 15 minute drive from the Dubai International Airport to The Conrad Dubai. We arrived at night, so we were already swept away by the lights and the Dubai skyline.
As we approached the hotel, we were greeted by hotel staff who grabbed our bags and immediately ushered us into the large lobby where we would check in.
It was late, but the lobby was buzzing with activity. Groups of friends heading out for a night out, couples returning from dinner. It felt good to be in the midst of all the activity after our 13 hour flight from Toronto.
Once we were done checking in, we headed up to our room where we were given a tour by one of the bell boys.
We had upgraded our room, so we ended up in the deluxe corner room with a panaromic view.
I’ve been in a lot of hotels throughout my life, but this one made me gasp as I took in the view through floor to ceiling windows that spanned 2 entire walls.
The room was big, bright and modern.
On the bed was a display of towels folded in the shape of a cake, with rode petals scattered all around.
It was my birthday, and they had decorated the room and left us a small cake and some treats as a welcome gift.
After our 13 hour flight, we felt like we were in paradise.
We quickly changed in to our pyjamas, called our kids to let them know we’d arrived and then settled in, devouring our treats while we waited for room service to arrive.

Our visit to Dubai was short, and we knew we wanted to stay somewhere central, so that we can easily access many of the city’s attractions.
We settled on this hotel as it’s conveniently located in the heart of Dubai.
It’s across the street from.a train station, which also means that getting around to other parts of the city is a breeze.
The iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, is just a short distance away, offering breathtaking views from its observation deck. The Dubai Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in the world, is also within close proximity, providing a shopper’s paradise with countless retail stores, entertainment options, and dining experiences.
